The nice thing about having a food blog is that people like to give you recipes. I have several friends who love giving me ideas for things to make. When my friend sent me an email with this recipe, my 11 year old declared that HE wanted to make these.
We got right on it and made them. This is the perfect recipe for little hands. Pretty hard to mess up.
We chose to make these with both Oreos and Peanut Butter Cups. We also made a few with a glob of peanut butter in the middle.
These were so good and didn't last long at all. The kids all gobbled them up in no time.
Chocolate Chip Brownie Stuffed Cookies
1 pkg. refrigerated cookie dough, (the kind that you break apart)
Brownie mix and ingredients to make it
1 package of Oreos
Big pack of Reese's Peanut Butter Cups
Spray 2 cupcake trays lightly with cooking spray. Make batter for brownies but do not bake, set aside.
Put half of piece of cookie dough in each cupcake. Press down to cover the bottom. Place an Oreo or a Reeses Peanut Butter Cup on top of the cookie dough. Top with a heaping tablespoon of brownie batter, so cup fills up about 3/4. Bake at 350 for about 18 minutes.
