200 conversations

200 conversas. 200 partilhas que me levaram a uma das coisas mais importantes da vida: a amizade. Através do blog encontrei pessoas que, de outra forma, dificilmente teria conhecido. E, para mim, é o melhor que isto traz.

Já tenho este poster há algum tempo, comprei-o no Etsy - a lojinha entretanto fechou... E já há algum tempo que pensava sorteá-lo num give away aqui no blog - gostava de poder dar um presente a cada seguidor, mas não é possível! :)

I have this print for a long time, I bought it at Etsy - the shop closed in the meantime... I have been meaning to give it away for quite some time now, in a way to thank my readers and followers - I wish I could give a present to each one of you, but that's not possible! :)

Sing little bird!

Gosto de passarinhos como elementos decorativos. E gosto de gaiolas antigas, para decoração - com velas, acho que ficam lindas! Não gosto de ver o animal preso, por isso os únicos pássaros verdadeiros que vejo são aqueles que visitam o meu jardim e me deixam ficar a vê-los bicar na relva.

Aqui estão alguns exemplos de uma das minhas 724.396 wish lists, esta relacionada com aves. Coisas  lindas, não são? Eu estou fascinada com aqueles espelhos-gaiola. 

E vocês, têm preferência por alguma?

I like birds as a decoration item. And I love old birdcages - with candles, I find them gorgeous! I don't like to see the animal on a cage, so the only real birds that I get to see are the ones who stop at my garden and let me watch them pick the grass.

Here are some examples of one of my 724.396 wish lists, this time under the subject "birds". Beautiful stuff, isn't it? I am totally smitten with those birdacage mirrors!...

Late night mist...

Hello my dear friends!

Hoje vou-vos mostrar um quadro de que gosto muito. Quando preparei os anos da Carlota, aproveitei para completar a decoração da minha sala. Não tinha os quadros que eu queria, por isso fui procurando, procurando e encontrei esta maravilha. Adoro as cores, adoro o orvalho da noite... e gostei imenso da pintora, a Belinda. Podem ver o seu trabalho no blog Gretchenmist.

Ainda me falta emoldurar uma pequena imagem que me enviou. Quando estiver pronta, mostro-a aqui!

Today I want to show you a print that I fell in love with. When I was finishing my living room decoration for Carlota's birthday party, I realized I hadn't the prints that I was dreaming of... In my search for the images that meant something to me, I found this lovely one, made by Belinda. I love the colours, I love the misty feeling... You can check her work here.

I still haven't framed a beautiful small print that she sent me, but when I do it I'll show some pictures here.

We are family!...

O meu irmão imprimiu-me este quadro, que encontrei no blog Sunny Fiona. Adoro as cores e, depois de tirar esta fotografia, pendurei o quadro na entrada de minha casa... assim, quem cá chega já sabe como é! :-)

I found this free downloadable print at Sunny Fiona and I loved the colours and the saying. My brother printed it in canvas and after this picture was taken, I hanged it in my home entrance.
