A Christmas table setting
Hello, my dear friends! As promised, here I am, to show you our Christmas dinner table. I hope you like it!
I would also like to thank you all - for your words, your visits and caress, the good tips, sensible advice and company. I wish you a happy, happy Christmas and I hope to keep seeing you here for a long time.
Love,
Susana
xoxo
Cake made by Cupcake, as usual - I wanted the deers and the garland with pinks and golds, so we decided on this beauty that you see! :)
A Christmas present ❤
Dourado, vermelho e branco - verdadeiras cores do Natal! Espero que a professora Cristiana goste...

This year I didn't forget: Carlota is giving her teacher a present. Unfortunately, I usually forget these kind of things, even though I really like my daughter's school and her teacher. So I decided to use a Martha Stewart box from last year, and which I find beautiful, and filled it with two of my favourite things: chocolates and vintage ornaments! We'll now tie the red ribbon around the box and place the stickers on top of its lid (you don't see it the photos).
Gold, red and white - pure Christmas colours! I hope teacher Cristiana enjoys her present...

Twinkle twinkle little star...
reade more...

We still don't have a tree topper star to place in the tree.
And the girls are waiting for their presents, nicely wrapped, for them to dream about...
They already have their little shoes, one for each, waiting for Santa...
Oh deer!...
I keep changing my decorations. And Christmas decor is no exception - actually, that's even the rule, as we get so many inspiration around that it's hard to stick to just one style. I wanted something simpler than what I had, I felt the living room was too full. Keeping the pink and gold tones, I decided to create this centerpiece, with the white deers and the candes behind them, for a cozy Christmas feeling...
And maybe we'll have a Christmas tree, after all. But on top of a table, as the issue of broken glass is still something I have to consider because of Conchinha.
Christmas colours mix
I'm sorry for the lack of posts lately, but I've been having very busy weeks.
Showing you som pink and gold in soft tones...
And a few beautiful ornaments from my collection, as promised!

The colours of my Christmas
Hi everyone! Hope you're enjoying your weekend - we're having a cold sunny Saturday here in Porto, and I love this weather! This weekend I'll be helping out my older daughter on her Christmas sale at school. They have to raise some money for their school travel and we'll be making some pretty Christmas packages, bake some cookies, maybe sell a few old books that she doesn't read any more... I love the holiday season, so hopefully we'll manage to make beautiful things with the stuff that we have at home.
I already started to unpacking my Christmas ornaments. I need to see how many I have, choose the colours that I'm using and loving this year, plan on what I'm decorating the sideboard with - maybe I'll use some branches to hang a few baubles... This year I'm thinking of a pink and white decor (always white) or maybe add some lilac and purple as well...
Here are some photos of the glass baubles...
And what about you? What colours will you be using for Christmas?
